Description:
Position Overview Reliant Rehab Services LLC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Centreville, Virginia. Work Environment This position is located in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Centreville, Virginia, where you will work onsite within a multidisciplinary team. The facility is equipped with the latest therapeutic technologies and a spacious treatment area designed to facilitate effective rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities Your primary responsibilities will include: Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with orthopedic conditions to determine their functional limitations. Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that align with the patients' rehabilitation goals and needs. Providing consultations to healthcare providers regarding patient progress and necessary adjustments to treatment protocols. Educating patients and their families about rehabilitation techniques, ensuring understanding of their treatment plans. Documenting all treatment plans, evaluations, and progress notes accurately and in compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes. Participating in community outreach initiatives and promoting rehabilitation services within the community. Supervising and mentoring support staff, including physical therapy assistants and aides. Continuously seeking personal and professional development through educational programs and in-services. Patient Population / Client Focus The patients you will serve primarily include individuals recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, and chronic orthopedic conditions. You will work with diverse patient demographics, involving all age groups from children to seniors, each with unique needs and treatment goals. Your approach should be flexible and culturally competent, ensuring that you provide optimal care while respecting each patient's individual background and preferences. Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications: Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution. Current state licensure in Physical Therapy, compliant with Virginia state regulations. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with team members. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer skills. Preferred Experience While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, preference may be given to those with: Experience in an orthopedic or rehabilitation setting, specifically treating similar patient populations. Certification in specialized areas of physical therapy, such as orthopedic clinical specialist (OCS). Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive salary range of
USD 100,000
to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
