Job Description
Position Summary Mt. Ascutney Hospital is seeking a full-time physical therapist to join our dynamic team of skilled clinicians in the Inpatient Rehabilitation department. The PT will work both on the acute rehab unit as well as seeing acute/swing patients. Responsibilities include evaluations and patient-centered treatment for hospitalized people with a variety of diagnoses, maintaining appropriate electronic medical records, and working cooperatively with other members of the health care team to provide optimal care. Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC) offers a clinical ladder program recognizing expertise and providing opportunities for advancement, with associated compensation. Qualifications Graduate of an approved school of PT. May be a new graduate or an experienced therapist. Must demonstrate effective oral communication skills and overall professional behavior. Licensure & Certifications Current licensure in the State of Vermont. BLS certification required.
