1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a skilled nursing unit setting, requiring 1 year of experience and BLS certification along with an applicable PT license. Details LTC/SNF care setting located on a 19-bed skilled nursing unit within an orthopedic hospital campus Possible acute care coverage in the joint connection unit Days shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Weekend coverage required; no holiday coverage required Must be able to cover all floors of the hospital as needed Utilizes
MEDITECH
for charting Works alongside PTAs and a rehab aide as part of the therapy team Requirements Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required Current BLS (AHA) certification required Physical Therapist License, Temporary License through the West Virginia Board of Physical Therapists, or PT Compact License required if applicable Additional Information Department-specific orientation provided Royal blue scrubs required as part of dress code Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted Returning WVU Medicine travelers must have taken a 2-year break before reapplying, and cumulative time within WVU facilities cannot exceed 1 year without a 2-year break
