This full-time, on-site opportunity is ideal for travel professionals who are passionate about pediatric care and supporting student development. You'll collaborate with dedicated educators and families to help children reach their highest potential.
Qualifications and Desired Background:
Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Valid Physical Therapist license (or eligibility) in West Virginia Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations is highly valued Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Willingness to adapt to diverse student needs and school environments Open to travel candidates ready for on-site commitment
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate and assess students with physical or developmental challenges in accordance with IEPs and school guidelines Create and implement individualized intervention plans Provide direct physical therapy services to students, helping them achieve functional goals in classroom and school settings Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to ensure appropriate support and generalization of therapy strategies Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and documentation as required by school policy Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, IEP conferences, and ongoing professional development
