Patient care is our top priority and we are committed to providing a positive, supportive and upbeat environment for our patients. We are currently seeking a physical therapy aide to join our team. We are primarily looking for a full time candidate but we will consider part time applicants as well. We are primarily looking for candidates interested in applying to physical therapy programs. This position is an excellent opportunity for prospective physical therapy students who are interested in gaining hands on experience, expanding their knowledge of physical therapy and developing their clinical and professional skills in a fast paced outpatient setting. Responsibilities The Physical Therapy Aide will work closely with our physical therapist and other staff members to help ensure the clinic operates efficiently and patients receive excellent care.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting physical therapists and other aides with patient care and clinic needs Monitoring paitents throughout their treatment sessions and communicating any concerns to the therapist Setting up and preparing treatment areas and equipment before and between patient Performing and/or assisting physical therapy modalities and treatments on patients as directed and prescribed by the physical therapist Helping with administrative tasks such as, preparing and organizing patient charts Maintaining a clean, organized and safe clinic environment Cleaning and sanitizing treatment areas, equipment and other areas of the clinic as needed Restocking supplies and ensuring treatment areas are prepared for the next patient Assisting other physical therapy aides and staff whenever additional help is needed Providing friendly, professional and attentive service to patients Following clinic policies, safety procedures and instructions from physical therapists and other staff members Helping maintain a positive, energetic and team oriented work environment Previous experience in a physical therapy or healthcare setting is not needed but preferred, we will provide on site training.

Compensation & Benefits Pay:
$17.00 per hour Expected hours: Approximately 40 hours per week
