Responsibilities Assist physical therapists with patient preparation, including setting up equipment and ensuring proper positioning for therapy sessions Support patients during exercises by providing manual handling assistance and ensuring safety protocols are followed Maintain accurate medical documentation and update electronic health records (EHR) with patient progress and treatment details Monitor patient conditions during therapy sessions, reporting any concerns or changes to the supervising therapist promptly Help manage clinic operations by organizing supplies, sterilizing equipment, and preparing treatment areas for upcoming sessions Communicate effectively with patients to provide health education, answer questions, and promote engagement in their recovery process Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and assisting with billing or insurance documentation as needed Experience Prior experience in healthcare settings such as clinics, hospitals, or outpatient facilities is highly preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and electronic health record (EHR) management is advantageous Experience with critical care or acute care environments enhances your ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations Familiarity with medical documentation standards, blood sampling procedures, and patient service best practices is beneficial Certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR, or Medical Assistant credentials are a plus Previous exposure to physical therapy or rehabilitation environments involving manual handling or diagnostic radiology is desirable Strong client communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team are essential Join us to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through compassionate support and dedicated service.
