Our team of clinicians is dedicated to providing high-quality, individualized, hands-on care and customized therapeutic exercise programs. This is an excellent opportunity for students pursuing physical therapy, nursing, kinesiology, or related fields — especially those needing observation or clinical hours for PT or nursing school. Job Description The Physical Therapy Aide plays a vital role in supporting our therapists and patients. You'll work directly with our clinical team to ensure smooth operations and excellent patient care.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting patients with exercise programs and demonstrating proper use of equipment Assisting with exercises to ensure proper positioning, safe performance, and patient understanding — educating when necessary and maintaining awareness of fall risks Monitoring patients on equipment to ensure safe use, proper technique, and demonstrating exercises when needed Helping therapists with treatment setup, including heat/ice packs and modalities Preparing treatment rooms by following prescribed procedures and protocols Providing information to patients by answering questions and requests Requirements & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Coursework or experience in kinesiology, anatomy, or related fields preferred Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or related field a plus (not required) Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Friendly, helpful, energetic, and professional demeanor Self-starter who works well as part of a team Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to problem-solve Why Join Atlantis PT & OT?
