Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Physical Therapy Aide to join our dynamic team. The Physical Therapy Aide will work closely with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals to provide patient care. This role is ideal for individuals who are interested in healthcare and want to gain hands-on experience in a rewarding and fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:
- Assist Physical Therapists with patient evaluations and treatments.
- Prepare and clean equipment and treatment areas.
- Assist patients with exercises and activities as directed by the Physical Therapist.
- Monitor patients and provide basic patient care.
- Maintain patient care and treatment.
- Provide exceptional patient service, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care in a supportive and caring environment.
- Utilize inpatient care skills to assist patients with daily activities and ensure their overall well-being.
- Assist with orthopedic treatments, including exercises and stretches to promote patient recovery.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Excellent communication and patient service skills.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
- Ability to work with patients of all ages, including geriatric patients.
