Job Description
Busy outpatient orthopedic/sports Physical Therapy clinic looking for Physical Therapy Aide / Exercise Specialist. FT/PT positions available. This is an excellent opportunity for students attempting to get into
PT/PTA, OT/COTA, ATC.
Ideal candidates have an outgoing personality, good organizational skills and a solid work ethic. The ability to learn, multitask, and maintain professionalism is a MUST. No license or certificate necessary.Job Purpose :
Supports physical therapy treatment coordinating between therapists and patients regarding exercises and treatment. Under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.Duties :
- Prepares treatment area and gym for patients.
- Answers telephone, performs various clerical duties including filing and faxing, and schedules physical therapy appointments.
- Assists the physical therapist by preparing heat packs; helping patients through their exercise routine, monitoring form and reporting back to therapist; controlling patient flow on gym floor.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment .
