Known for our manual therapy skill sets and friendly, upbeat attitudes, OFF-SEASON Sports & Physical Therapy has become the place to go for sports medicine rehabilitation in the Merrimack Valley. Our patient population primarily consists of athletes of all walks: marathon runners to triathletes, and weekend warriors to contact sports participants. Additionally, through our Dance & Performing Arts Rehab Program, we are able to treat dancers, gymnasts, figure skaters, and musicians! OSSPT is an affiliate of Boston Children's Hospital's Sports Medicine Division, and we are a preferred provider for physical therapy services in our region. Thanksgiving Day Road Race, and take pride in community involvement!
Position:
Part-time Physical Therapy Aide Hours:
15-20 hours per week, with opportunity for additional hours
Compensation:
$16.00-$17.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
Work under the direct supervision of a licensed physical therapist (PT) or physical therapist assistant (PTA) Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, which have been designed and administered by PT or PTA Assist with stabilization and ambulation for safety purposes when necessary Demonstrate proper use of cold and heat application Prepare patient environment, equipment, or modality for the PT or PTA, as directed Maintain cleanliness of treatment floor and equipment
Requirements:
CPR/AED certified Must be 18+ years of age Knowledge of HIPAA is preferred Must be available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays A background in exercise and athletics is a plus!
