Role Mission As our SoftWave Technician & Therapy Aide, your main focus will be delivering SoftWave treatments under provider direction and helping patients understand their care options. You'll also support new patient onboarding and help our front desk welcome patients. You'll be cross-trained to provide occasional therapy support as well. This is a clinical support role for someone who already understands the body: how muscles, tendons, and joints work, and why a treatment protocol matters. You'll spend your day with patients, making sure they feel informed, comfortable, and cared for at every visit. Is This You? What You'll Do SoftWave Therapy (Primary Focus) Deliver SoftWave treatments following provider-directed protocols Position patients correctly and target treatment areas accurately, using your knowledge of anatomy Explain what patients can expect during treatment, and check in on their comfort throughout Recommend SoftWave care packages to patients, explaining how a full course of treatment supports lasting results Help patients choose a care package with confidence, including clear, honest answers about pricing and what's included Document sessions accurately and completely Maintain, clean, and set up equipment New Patient Onboarding & Front Desk Support Support new patient onboarding by helping patients complete their ADL (activities of daily living) questionnaires Take posture photos for the care team's evaluation Greet and welcome patients as they arrive Check patients in and out warmly and efficiently Answer phones with a calm, helpful tone Cross-Trained Therapy Support (Under Physical Therapist Direction) You'll be cross-trained to provide occasional therapy support. This work is always done under the direction of our physical therapists and follows each patient's PT treatment plan. Support our cold laser station, guiding patients through the stretches and therapeutic movements in their treatment plan Set patients up at our modalities station, including cold packs and e-stim, as directed by the physical therapist Keep the patient flow on schedule Communicate patient feedback and progress to the physical therapist Requirements You must have at least one of the following: A degree in exercise science, kinesiology, athletic training, biology, or a related health field A current or former massage therapy license At least 1 year of hands-on patient care experience in a healthcare setting (such as PT aide, chiropractic assistant, athletic trainer, or medical assistant) You also need: A working knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy Clear, confident, and caring communication with patients Comfort talking with patients about care recommendations and pricing Basic computer skills for patient check-in and check-out The ability to stand, position patients, and move throughout your shift Applications without healthcare education or experience will not be considered. We provide full SoftWave training, including how to talk with patients about care packages. Prior SoftWave or sales experience is not required.
