Qualifications:
Required:
BLS Certification / CPR Card from the American Heart Association (AHA) HS diploma or GED (or equivalent required within one year of hire) Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred:
Basic knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and muscle movement terminology Physical Therapy experience Scheduling Requirements Per Diem (Day) Opportunities for picking up extra hours as available at any RWJ Somerset Sports Physical Therapy clinic locations (Bridgewater, Princeton, Hillsborough)
Essential Functions:
Assisting physical therapists with patient care such as assisting with patient transfers onto and off of treatment tables and equipment Retrieving equipment such as hot packs, cold packs, and electrical equipment Maintaining treatment area and setting up equipment General housekeeping and infection prevention Assist in clerical needs of department such as answering phones and taking messages
