Mon-Fri:

8am-12pm) Physical Therapy Aide/Technician in South Ogden, UT. Candidate must be cheerful, positive, and professional as you greet and work with our patients. We are looking for upbeat, motivating personalities that will contribute to a fun, fast-paced clinic. We prefer a candidate with tech experience, but on-site training is available. If you are interested in PT as a career, this will be an excellent way to accrue hours for your application.

JOB SUMMARY

Greet patients Under direct supervision of a Physical Therapist (PT) o Transport or assist patients to treatment areas. o Clearly communicate instruction and supervision of patient exercise routines. o Maintain cleanliness of treatment areas. o Communicate with PT regarding patient response to treatment. o Set up modalities as directed by physical therapist. o Assist in managing patient flow during patient visit. Data entry into medical software systems. Other miscellaneous office duties and light cleaning at the end of each shift. Study, understand and adhere to all clinic policies, procedures and OSHA guidelines.

High school degree required.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Requires standing for extended periods. Requires frequent bending, squatting, twisting, stretching, and reaching to help with patient exercises. Requires occasional patient handling and transferring over 100 pounds. Requires frequent repetitive pushing, pulling, and grasping up to 50 pounds. Requires normal or corrected-to-normal hearing and visual acuity. Must possess all physical abilities necessary to perform the job. Benefits listed will be offered for full-time position.
