Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will support our doctor in providing exceptional care to patients. Your contributions will be vital in helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their overall quality of life. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as a commitment to patient service. Responsibilities Assist the doctor in implementing treatment plans for patients. Prepare treatment areas and ensure all equipment is clean and ready for use. Help patients with exercises and mobility tasks, ensuring their safety and comfort. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation as required. Provide excellent customer service by greeting patients and addressing their needs. Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care and outcomes. Skills Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assist in patient care effectively. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices. Excellent patient service skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs. Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical environment while maintaining professionalism. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. A proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. Background or degrees in physical therapy, exercise science, kinesiology and athletic training is a plus.
