Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Chiropractic Assistant. Our team is the recipient of the 2026 Best In Northport Award in our profession. We love serving our patients in a fun and upbeat environment. You will be instrumental in providing exceptional patient service, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth clinic flow. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out procedures efficiently using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Schedule appointments accurately and coordinate patient flow to optimize clinic productivity Collect and verify patient information, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies Assist with medical documentation review, including CPT coding, ICD-10 coding, and care plan documentation to support accurate billing and recordkeeping Handle phone communication with professionalism, providing excellent customer service and answering inquiries about services or insurance coverage Manage medical records and electronic health records (EHR), ensuring proper filing, data entry, and electronic health records management Support medical billing processes by understanding health insurance policies such as Medicare and processing claims efficiently Qualifications (preferred) Proven clinic experience or medical office experience with familiarity in medical administrative support and front desk operations Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EMR/EHR systems Knowledge of health insurance processes including Medicare, HIPAA regulations, CPT coding, ICD-10 coding, and medical billing procedures Excellent customer service skills with phone etiquette and effective communication abilities Ability to review medical documentation accurately and maintain strict confidentiality of patient information Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations Join us to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while advancing your career in a vibrant healthcare environment.
