Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in physiotherapy practices, with experience in diverse clinical settings. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will support licensed therapists by implementing treatment plans, assisting patients with exercises, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. Responsibilities Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and executing individualized care plans for patients of all ages. Support patient care by demonstrating therapeutic exercises, trigger point therapy techniques, and modalities to promote recovery. Monitor patient progress and document responses to treatment accurately in accordance with clinical protocols. Prepare treatment areas and ensure all equipment is sanitized and maintained according to safety standards. Educate patients and their families on exercises, injury prevention strategies, and post-treatment care instructions. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and physiotherapy techniques relevant to diverse patient populations. Skills Proficiency in trigger point therapy, physiotherapy modalities, and rehabilitation techniques. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practice. Ability to develop effective care plans tailored to individual patient needs while adhering to clinical guidelines. Excellent communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration. Prior experience with clinic-based therapy services is highly desirable. Pay:
$25.00 - $31.00 per hour
