Qualifications & Experience:

Experience as a Non-Certified or Certified Surgical Technologist, or as a Nurse with Operating Room Technician (ORT) skills Demonstrated knowledge of surgical instruments, sterile techniques, and surgical procedures Ability to anticipate the needs of surgeons and adapt quickly within a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail Excellent communication and collaborative skills for effective teamwork

Responsibilities:

Prepare operating rooms by ensuring all instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies are set up and functional prior to surgery Assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures by passing instruments, maintaining the sterile field, and monitoring equipment Perform counts of instruments and supplies, and document all required information accurately Follow strict infection control and safety protocols at all times Support post-operative clean-up and sterilization processes Collaborate with the surgical team and other departments to coordinate high-quality patient care
