Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide skilled physical therapy services to patients across Senior Living Communities . In this role, you will be instrumental in helping seniors recover, enhance mobility, and maintain their independence through tailored physical therapy treatment plans. At Covenant Home Health Agency (CHH) , our dedicated team of professionals collaborate to promote independence, enhance quality of life, and support our residents in reaching their fullest potential.

West Valley & East Valley Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program with either an Associate's degree in science or applied science that is approved by American Physical Therapy Association, Inc. Current certification or license as required by state law. Demonstrates good verbal and written communication and organizational skills. Possess and maintain current CPR certification. Licensed driver with an automobile that is in good working order and insured in accordance with the organization's requirements.
Physical Requirements:
The various responsibilities for a Physical therapy assistant are often physically demanding and require that therapists be in good physical condition. Must be able to withstand prolonged or considerable walking, standing, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling or crouching. Able to lift, position, or transfer patients, as well as supplies and equipment; minimum lifting required is 25 lbs. Visual acuity and hearing to perform required therapy skills. Must be able to complete a max assist patient transfer independently.
