We're a pelvic health and orthopedic clinic in Tucson, AZ seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant , full-time or part-time, to join our team. You'll work closely under the direction of our supervising Physical Therapists to deliver full-hour, individualized treatment sessions to a diverse caseload — including male, female, and transgender clients — while receiving regular, consistent mentorship to grow your clinical skills. Key Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist, tailored to each patient's goals and needs Provide hands-on treatment, therapeutic exercise instruction, and manual therapy techniques to a varied and complex caseload Monitor and document patient response to treatment, reporting progress and any changes in condition to the supervising PT Reinforce patient education on pelvic floor anatomy, physiology, and self-management strategies under PT guidance Support care coordination by communicating effectively with patients, families, and the broader care team Assist with discharge planning tasks to ensure a seamless transition of care from clinic to home or community environments Document all patient interactions and treatment sessions accurately and in a timely manner, in accordance with clinical documentation standards Help maintain organized caseloads and manage scheduling efficiently Stay current with advancements in physical therapy techniques and pursue relevant continuing education Ensure compliance with all regulatory and clinic documentation standards Skills Working knowledge of pelvic floor anatomy and physiology to support treatment delivery Manual therapy techniques, including trigger point therapy, for alleviating pelvic pain and dysfunction Comfort following and adapting evidence-based treatment plans under PT supervision Strong understanding of clinical documentation standards and proficient use of EHR/EMR systems Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to orthopedics, neurology, gynecology, urology, and general physiotherapy Patient education and communication, especially around sensitive or personal health topics Comfort and confidence working with a diverse client population (male, female, and transgender individuals) Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently within scope while collaborating closely with supervising PTs Active listening and a trauma-informed care approach Adaptability across complex and varied clinical presentations A compassionate, patient-centered approach that fosters a supportive and empowering environment for recovery and wellness Credentials/Qualifications Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program Current Arizona Physical Therapy Assistant license Level 1 Pelvic Floor course (or willingness to complete within [X months] of hire) CPR/BLS certification Benefits Competitive hourly pay Flexible scheduling options (40, 36, or 32 hours/week) Paid Time Off (PTO) 6 paid holidays per year 401(k) matching Annual continuing education budget Regular, consistent mentorship to support clinical growth and confidence If this sounds like the perfect fit for your skills and passion, we'd love to hear from you!
