is currently seeking a compassionate and dependable Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patients in the Oakland and Alameda, California area. This is a part-time opportunity offering 2 shifts per week with competitive per-visit pay . As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, restore function, reduce pain, and achieve their rehabilitation goals in a home health setting. Responsibilities Provide physical therapy treatments according to the established plan of care. Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, balance activities, and functional rehabilitation. Monitor and document patient progress, responses to treatment, and any changes in condition. Educate patients and caregivers on prescribed exercises and safety techniques. Communicate patient progress and concerns with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation. Follow all infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines. Requirements Active California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License in good standing. Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program (Preferred). Current BLS Certification . Minimum of 1 year of Physical Therapist Assistant experience . Ability to work independently while providing compassionate patient care. Pay & Schedule $80
