Day Shift - 5x8 Hours Job Summary "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join a dynamic rehabilitation team in Alturas, CA. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will support the delivery of high-quality physical therapy services across acute care, skilled nursing, and outpatient settings. Key Responsibilities Provide physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist Monitor, evaluate, and document patient responses to therapy interventions Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, neuromuscular re-education, and mobility activities Utilize therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, spinal traction, and soft tissue mobilization Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support optimal patient outcomes Ensure a safe, clean, and compliant treatment environment per facility standards Assist with scheduling, front desk support, and supply coordination as needed Requirements Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program required Active California PTA License required Current BLS certification required Prior experience in acute care, skilled nursing, or outpatient rehabilitation preferred Strong understanding of physical therapy procedures and modalities Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
