This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in medical administrative support, health information management, and clinic operations within a fast-paced, patient-centered setting. Duties Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out procedures. Preparing paperwork and file patient charts. Perform intake assessments. Schedule appointments accurately; coordinate with providers to optimize daily clinic flow. Carry out patients' treatment plan instructed and supervised by the chiropractic physician. Handle phone communication with professionalism, practicing excellent phone etiquette to assist patients and providers effectively. Provide information over the phone, text, respond to emails and assist patients with any requests such as scheduling, change of appointment or general information inquiry. Occasional back office duties may be needed such as setting up multiple patients in the rooms and assisting the doctor with translation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of front office, exam room and treatment area. Coordinate with the treating doctors and update them if patients miss their appointment. Keep treatment rooms, therapy areas, and rehab spaces neat and ready. Communicate with the back office about where each patient goes next. Check office, clinical, cleaning, and restroom supplies once per week and report anything low before the office runs out. Qualifications Proven experience in medical office administration or front desk roles highly preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology, health insurance policies including Medicare, HIPAA compliance, CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding, and care plan documentation. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally over the phone and in person. Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially following clinical confidentiality policies. Expectations Be on time, dependable, organized, and professional.
