Full-Time Thrive Physical Therapy is growing, and we are looking for a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our expanding orthopedic physical therapy team in Fountain Valley. With two Doctors of Physical Therapy and close collaboration with a highly skilled group of orthopedic surgeons, Thrive PT offers a team-oriented environment focused on providing exceptional, evidence-based care to our patients. We are looking for a PTA who enjoys working with orthopedic and musculoskeletal patients , brings positive energy to the clinic, and takes pride in helping patients regain strength, mobility, and function. About Thrive Physical Therapy Our newly renovated clinic is designed for orthopedic rehabilitation, post-surgical recovery, sports medicine, and functional strengthening.

Our facility includes:

Throwing wall and squat rack Hi/lo treatment tables Private treatment room Cybex treadmill and bike Normatec compression system Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) equipment Diagnostic MSK Ultrasound/EMG Diverse orthopedic and sports medicine patient population Our therapists work closely together and collaborate with our orthopedic providers to provide coordinated care throughout the patient's recovery. What You'll Do As a PTA at Thrive Physical Therapy, you will work under the direction of our licensed Physical Therapists to carry out individualized treatment plans and help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities include:

Provide therapeutic exercise and treatment according to the established plan of care Guide and educate patients through exercises and rehabilitation programs Monitor patient response and progress during treatment Communicate changes, concerns, and progress to the supervising Physical Therapist Assist with orthopedic and post-operative rehabilitation Provide patient education regarding exercises, mobility, and home programs Accurately and timely document patient treatment Maintain a safe, organized, and professional treatment environment Work collaboratively with DPTs, physicians, and clinic staff to provide an excellent patient experience What We're Looking For Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current California PTA license or eligibility for licensure Interest in orthopedic and musculoskeletal rehabilitation Strong communication and interpersonal skills Dependable, organized, and team-oriented Comfortable working in an active and growing clinical environment Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care Orthopedic or sports medicine experience is preferred, but we are also open to newer PTAs who are motivated to learn and grow with our team.
