Job Description

PowerBack Rehabilitation, a leader in post-hospital rehabilitation, seeks a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-intensity rehabilitation therapies designed to help patients recover from surgeries, injuries, or illnesses. Our commitment is to enable our patients to regain their independence through personalized care plans and innovative treatment strategies. This position requires a compassionate approach and a resilient attitude, as you will assist a diverse patient population in achieving their recovery goals. Responsibilities Assist physical therapists in developing treatment plans and delivering rehabilitation therapies. Document patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and post-discharge care. Maintain equipment and assist in ordering supplies. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety standards. Required Skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Detail-oriented with robust organizational abilities Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Knowledge of therapeutic methods and techniques Proficiency in using healthcare software and equipment
