The ideal candidate will support patient recovery and rehabilitation in outpatient facility in Temecula/Murrieta. This role offers an opportunity to work with diverse patient populations, including geriatrics, orthopedics, and those requiring discharge planning. The Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant will collaborate closely with licensed therapists to implement personalized care plans that promote optimal patient outcomes. Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients. Provide therapeutic interventions such as trigger point therapy, physiotherapy techniques, and other modalities to improve mobility, strength, and function. Support patient care by monitoring progress, documenting responses to treatment, and adjusting interventions as directed by supervising therapists. Educate patients and their families on exercises, mobility techniques, and injury prevention strategies tailored to their specific needs. Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies. Valid licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of California. Experience working in outpatient clinics. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and various therapeutic techniques including trigger point therapy. Strong understanding of physiotherapy principles and ability to assist in developing effective care plans. Excellent communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration. Ability to work effectively within a team environment and adapt to different clinical settings. Pay:
$35.00 - $42.00 per hour
