In order to that, we value our team and foster a nurturing work environment. Duties Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients. Provide hands-on patient care, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities as directed by the supervising therapist. Monitor patient progress and document treatment outcomes accurately in compliance with facility policies. Educate patients and their families on exercises, home care techniques, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Stay updated on best practices in physical therapy and participate in continuing education opportunities. Requirements Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and patient care practices. Experience in geriatrics, home health, skilled nursing facilities, clinics, or outpatient settings is preferred but not required. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with patient care, including lifting and moving patients as necessary.
