Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) 📍 1040 Marshall Way, Placerville, CA 95667 💲 $35-$45/hour (DOE) Are you a passionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant looking to make a meaningful impact? The Pines in Placerville is seeking a dedicated PTA to join our supportive and collaborative rehabilitation team. About the Role As a Staff PTA, you'll work closely with our Physical Therapists and Rehabilitation leadership to provide hands-on care and support resident recovery. This role blends direct patient care, collaboration, and clinical documentation, giving you the opportunity to grow your skills in a dynamic skilled nursing setting. What You'll Do Provide therapy treatments to residents under the direction of a Physical Therapist Accurately document treatments and resident progress in compliance with regulations Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on care plans, progress updates, and discharge planning Educate residents and families on exercises, safety, and fall prevention Assist with care conferences and rehabilitation meetings Support safe treatment environments and proper equipment use Recommend and assist with obtaining adaptive equipment to improve resident mobility and independence Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff education as needed What We're Looking For Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in California (required) Associate degree from an accredited PTA program Strong teamwork and communication skills Experience in skilled nursing or rehab settings preferred Familiarity with EHR systems (such as Net Health or PointClickCare) is a plus Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care Why Choose The Pines?
