Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) | Outpatient Orthopedic & Functional Rehabilitation Clinic Motion SF Physical Therapy is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and patient-centered full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our growing outpatient rehabilitation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a PTA who values individualized patient care, strong therapist-patient relationships, and working in a collaborative, supportive clinical environment. We proudly serve a diverse community in San Francisco, including many patients and families who speak Cantonese and other languages. Candidates with Cantonese and/or Mandarin language skills are encouraged to apply, as multilingual abilities can enhance communication and patient experience. However, language proficiency is not required, and all qualified candidates will be considered. Qualifications Current California Physical Therapist Assistant license Cantonese and/or Mandarin language skills are preferred Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred; motivated new graduates are welcome to apply Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Passion for helping patients improve function, mobility, and quality of life Position Responsibilities Carry out treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist Guide patients through therapeutic exercise programs, functional training, and mobility activities Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress appropriately Educate patients on home exercise programs, posture, body mechanics, and injury prevention Maintain accurate and timely documentation Foster a positive, encouraging, and patient-centered treatment environment Utilize available language skills and clinic resources, including interpretation services when appropriate, to support effective communication with patients and families What We Offer Full-Time Position with a consistent and stable schedule Health, Dental & Vision Benefits, with employer contributions and flexibility to discuss individual needs
