Job Description
Overview The internship is 3-6 months with a stipend at the end of the internship along with bonuses. This internship is designed to give emerging medical administrative professionals hands-on exposure inside a high-volume, patient-centered chiropractic office. Interns will support day-to-day clinical and front-desk operations, strengthen administrative competencies, and develop a strong working knowledge of patient flow, documentation standards, and customer experience best practices. You'll collaborate directly with the care team to ensure appointments run on time, maintain operational readiness, and deliver a smooth, high-touch patient experience. This role provides a structured environment where interns gain real-world skills in scheduling, communication, patient intake, data entry, and professional service etiquette. Responsibilities Support front-desk operations, including patient check-in, check-out, and appointment scheduling Assist with new patient intake, paperwork organization, and chart preparation Maintain a clean, organized, and patient-ready office environment Manage phone calls, voicemails, and basic patient inquiries with professionalism Enter patient data accurately into office systems and uphold documentation standards Support providers during patient flow to help appointments run on time Prepare treatment rooms and ensure supplies are stocked and orderly Observe and learn best practices in patient communication and service excellence Assist with basic administrative projects such as filing, scanning, and data tracking Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA-aligned office protocols Collaborate with the care team to identify workflow needs and support daily operations Demonstrate a positive, engaged, learning mindset throughout the internship Skills Entry level position no prior training needed This role offers an exciting opportunity to grow within a supportive healthcare environment dedicated to improving lives through compassionate care.
