Position Summary The Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide quality skilled therapy services to patients in their homes. Responsibilities Provide skilled physical therapy interventions according to the established plan of care. Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility, gait, balance, and strengthening activities. Monitor patient response to treatment and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist. Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safety techniques. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Communicate effectively with the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team. Follow the established plan of care and all applicable Medicare, Medicaid, AHCA, and agency requirements. Provide compassionate and professional patient care. Qualifications Current and unrestricted Florida Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license . Graduate of an accredited PTA program. Current CPR certification. Previous home health experience preferred, but not required. Strong communication and documentation skills.
