Job Description
CORA Physical Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide high-quality outpatient rehab care in a collaborative, patient-first environment. In this Full time role, you will implement treatment plans designed by licensed Physical Therapists, guide patients through therapeutic exercises, monitor progress, and document outcomes accurately. You'll work with a multidisciplinary team, educate patients and families, and support evidence-based, personalized care. Responsibilities Implement treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional training Apply basic manual therapy and therapeutic modalities as directed Monitor, document, and report patient progress using EMR systems Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and precautions Collaborate with PTs and the clinical care team to adjust plans of care Ensure patient safety, proper body mechanics, and equipment use Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant outpatient treatment environment Support evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives Participate in continuing education, mentorship, and professional development Required Skills Therapeutic exercise implementation Outpatient orthopedics rehabilitation Manual therapy techniques (basic) Gait training and functional mobility Patient transfer and safety techniques Therapeutic modalities (eg, ultrasound, e-stim) EMR documentation and charting Patient and family education Care plan progression and monitoring Interdisciplinary team collaboration
