Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Mobile Therapy Karina Therapeutic Services LLC Lake Worth, FL Job Details Part-time | Full-time | PRN | Contract $45 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Driver's License Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant Full Job Description Job Overview KARINA Therapeutic Services LLC is seeking compassionate and dependable Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to provide mobile pediatric therapy services throughout Palm Beach County. Services are provided in children's homes, daycares, schools, therapy centers, and community settings. This is a 1099 independent contractor position with a flexible schedule. The position may begin as PRN or part-time, with the opportunity to develop a larger caseload based on patient availability, service area, and the therapist's preferred schedule. Compensation and Caseload $45 per completed treatment session Flexible schedule Caseload based on therapist availability and service area A minimum commitment of two patients is required (approximately six treatment sessions per week) Opportunity to grow to approximately 30 treatment sessions per week Responsibilities Provide pediatric physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist Follow and implement the plan of care established by the supervising Physical Therapist Provide interventions addressing gross motor development, strength, balance, coordination, mobility, gait, and functional independence Observe each child's response to treatment and report progress or relevant changes to the supervising Physical Therapist Complete accurate and timely documentation for every treatment session Communicate professionally with the supervising Physical Therapist, caregivers, and other members of the child's care team Educate caregivers on activities and strategies included in the established plan of care Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, company policies, and applicable healthcare requirements Travel to assigned patients throughout Palm Beach County Qualifications Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Pediatric experience preferred Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Ability to complete all required credentialing and background-screening requirements Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus We are looking for caring and responsible professionals who enjoy working with children and families and want the flexibility to build a caseload that fits their availability.
Pay:
$45.00 per hour Expected hours: 6.0 - 30.0 per week
