CHIROPRACTIC THERAPY ASSISTANT

Miami Beach Chiropractic Sports Medicine Office We are a busy, patient-focused chiropractic sports medicine practice seeking an energetic, dependable, and professional Therapy Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on position involving face-to-face interaction with patients. It is especially well suited for someone with experience in massage, assisted stretching, personal training, exercise instruction, rehabilitation, or another patient-care setting. No professional license is required, and we are willing to train the right candidate.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bilingual in English and Spanish Professional, polite, personable, and trustworthy Energetic, dependable, ethical, and team-oriented Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills Comfortable working directly with patients Able to multitask effectively in a busy clinical environment Positive, solution-oriented attitude Experience in massage, stretching, personal training, rehabilitation, chiropractic, or another healthcare setting is preferred but not required.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Escorting and directing patients to treatment rooms Preparing treatment rooms and assisting with patient flow Setting patients up on passive therapeutic modalities Performing assisted stretching techniques following training Providing light soft-tissue mobilization following training Teaching and supervising prescribed rehabilitation exercises Scanning documents into patients' electronic records Assisting with light administrative and office responsibilities Supporting other team members as needed All team members are cross-trained to assist in different areas of the practice.

SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION

Approximately 25-30 hours per week Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday Starting compensation: $16
