Responsibilities As a Back Office Chiropractic Assistant, you'll work directly alongside the chiropractor to provide excellent patient care while helping keep the clinic running efficiently.
Responsibilities include:
Rooming patients and documenting symptoms in SOAP note format before the doctor enters. Assisting the chiropractor during patient examinations. Performing basic clinical assessments including orthopedic testing, range of motion, blood pressure, height, and weight measurements. Accurately transcribing daily patient visits and examinations into our electronic health record (EHR). Assisting patients with prescribed rehabilitation exercises.
Performing therapies including:
Kinesiology taping Therapeutic ultrasound Electrical muscle stimulation Mechanical traction Cupping therapy Foam rolling and other soft tissue techniques Preparing treatment rooms between patients by cleaning and sanitizing equipment. Keeping treatment areas stocked and organized. Answering phones and scheduling appointments when needed. Assisting teammates throughout the office to ensure patients receive excellent care. As you grow within the practice, additional responsibilities such as taking digital X-rays may become available through training. We're Looking For Someone Who Is... Friendly, personable, and compassionate. Professional in both appearance and communication. Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced clinic. Comfortable working hands-on with patients. A quick learner who enjoys being part of a team. Detail-oriented with strong computer and documentation skills. Passionate about helping people improve their health. Experience Previous chiropractic or medical office experience is not required . However, applicants with backgrounds in: Chiropractic Exercise Science Kinesiology Physical Therapy Athletic Training Nursing Medical Assisting Personal Training Or other healthcare fields are encouraged to apply. A basic understanding of anatomy is helpful, but we are willing to train the right individual who brings a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to learn. Why ADIO?
