Chiropractic Assistant

Job Description

As a chiropractic assistant, you would handle and assist in daily office operations, patient triage, manage patient flow and administer some therapies under the direct supervision of a licensed chiropractor.
Administrative & Front Desk Operations Patient Reception :
Greet patients warmly, manage the check-in/check-out process, and distribute intake paperwork.
Appointment Scheduling :
Support the clinic's digital calendar and optimize patient flow.
Billing and Insurance :
Verify patient insurance benefits and process payments.
Office Maintenance :
Answer phone calls, respond to emails, maintain organized digital health records.
Clinical & Patient Care Support Patient Triage :
Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, weight, and temperature.
Room Preparation :
Clean, sanitize, and stock treatment rooms between patient adjustments.
Therapeutic Modalities :
Assist the chiropractor by setting patients up with passive therapies like heat/cold packs, electrical muscle stimulation, radial shockwave and deep tissue laser.
Patient Education :
Distribute educational resources regarding wellness practices, prescribed stretches, and post-treatment care.
Key Skills Interpersonal Communication :
Strong empathy and customer service skills to support patients experiencing chronic pain.
Multitasking & Organization :
Ability to rapidly switch between hands-on patient care and desk-based administrative tasks.
Tech Literacy :
Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) software.
Compliance :
Strict adherence to healthcare regulations, including HIPAA privacy standards.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
