Job Description
Physical Therapist Assistant Position Summary Assist the Physical Therapist with a patient's rehabilitative activities. Responsibilities
- Work cooperatively with medical staff, case managers, social work and adjustors
- Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Reports patient status to a physical therapist as well as report to a manager
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
- Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned Requirements and Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant required
- Current Idaho Physical Therapy Assistant License required
- BLS required Working Conditions
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to maintain a standing and/or sitting position
