Overview Hayden Lake Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality care to patients in various settings, including outpatient clinics, acute care facilities, and inpatient rehabilitation. This role is essential in helping patients improve their mobility, manage pain, and achieve their rehabilitation goals. Patient care is 1:1 with no tech treatment. Wage is depending on experience. Haydenlakept.com Duties Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the supervising therapist. Monitor patient progress and report changes or concerns to the physical therapist. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and home care strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress in compliance with medical regulations. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Requirements Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and various therapeutic techniques. Experience or knowledge in geriatrics, orthopedics, pediatrics, acute care, or inpatient settings is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members. Ability to demonstrate compassion and patience while working with diverse patient populations. Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards in practice.
