JOB SUMMARY AND SPECIFICATIONS JOB SUMMARY
Must have good customer service skills to deal directly with patients, customers, internal departments either by telephone, electronically or face to face. Under the general and direct supervision of the manager, Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant. Prepares set up equipment for treatment; performs housekeeping duties of the department; assists the Physical Therapist and PTA in selected procedures, assists in purchasing supplies for the clinic, keeps pertinent logs up to date, cleans the pool and also provides clerical back-up with duties such as but not limited to: answering phones/taking messages, filing/faxing/patient check in process/some patient scheduling and partial outcome process after all duties have been completed in treatment area. Weekly faxing of workman's compensation notes to physician/insurance/employer.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Professional & Technical Skills Education High School Graduate or equivalent preferred Pre-OT, Pre-PT, or related kinesiology majors preferred. License(s) or Certification(s) Other Skills or Requirements Excellent customer service and communication skills. Good attention to detail and excellent time management skills are required. May be asked to use a personal automobile for MHP business (MHP sites) and will be eligible for mileage reimbursement during the normal course of duties if safety criteria is met. Must have a valid driver's license, current insurance, and an acceptable driving record. Must adhere to safety guidelines as outlined in
