Job Summary
SUMMARY:

Seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA is responsible for administering therapeutic treatments in accordance with individualized patient care plans. This role plays a key role in helping patients regain strength, mobility, and independence, while maintaining a high standard of care and promoting a supportive healing environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Administering physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Assisting patients with therapeutic exercises, functional activities and mobility training.
  • Monitoring and documenting patient progress and response to treatment.
  • Communicating effectively with the Physical Therapist and other members of the care team to ensure coordinated care.
  • Educating patients and families on home exercises and safety strategies.
  • Ensuring treatment areas and equipment are clean, safe, and properly maintained.
QULAIFICATIONS
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) required.
  • Current licensure to practice as a PTA in the State of Oregon required.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required or ability to attain upon hire.
  • Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.
  • Strong commitment to delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to meet the physical and functional requirements outlined in the job description.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screen and reference checks.

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Certification

CPR Certification Compensation

$34.98 per Hour Depending on Experience
