Accept:

Performs all PT procedures as prescribed by the physician in a patient's place of residence when authorized, instructed and supervised by a qualified Physical Therapist. Consults frequently with the Physical Therapist responsible for the patients and has the ability to read and interpret instructions as given by the Physical Therapist. Assess and identify needs of the patient and participates in care coordination with the Physical Therapist, reporting all identified needs and abnormal signs/symptoms. Be a coach! Educate patients on exercises and activities they can do at home. Team up with other healthcare pros to coordinate top-notch patient care. Keep detailed and up-to-date patient records.

Your Extraordinary Abilities:

A current, unemcumbered license to practice in the state of Kansas as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Physical Therapy Assistant (Home Health experience is a plus!). Graduate of two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Council of Medical Education and Hospitals of the AMA. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients, families, and team members. Ability to follow individualized treatment plans. Strong problem-solving skills to navigate unique patient challenges. Empathy and compassion to support patients throughout their recovery. Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple patients and tasks.
