This full-time position plays a vital role in supporting our physical therapists and helping patients achieve their recovery and wellness goals. Position Summary The Physical Therapy Technician assists licensed physical therapists and physical therapist assistants with patient care, clinic operations, and administrative duties. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional patient experiences in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Assist physical therapists with patient treatment sessions under their direction. Prepare treatment areas and equipment for patient use. Guide patients through prescribed exercises and therapeutic activities. Clean and sanitize treatment rooms, equipment, and common areas. Monitor patient comfort and report concerns to the therapy team. Maintain adequate supplies and organize equipment. Assist with scheduling appointments and patient check-in/check-out as needed. Complete documentation and administrative tasks accurately and timely. Ensure compliance with clinic policies, safety standards, and HIPAA regulations. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors. Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Basic computer proficiency. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and assist patients throughout the workday. Preferred Previous experience in a physical therapy, healthcare, fitness, athletic training, or customer service setting. Interest in pursuing a career in physical therapy, healthcare, kinesiology, exercise science, or a related field.
