Job Description

Category Schools - PTA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students near Revere, MA! This full-time, 12-week assignment is ideal for a passionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) interested in making a difference in a school environment. With 35 hours per week and a late August start, you'll provide expert care while building valuable experience in academic and healthcare settings. There is also the potential for assignment extension.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Active and valid PTA license required Experience in school-based, pediatric, or similar healthcare settings preferred Strong team collaboration and communication skills Ability to adapt to fast-paced, varied caseloads Dedication to fostering student independence and mobility Proficient in documentation and progress reporting
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality physical therapy services to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with supervising PT, educators, and multidisciplinary team members to maximize student outcomes Implement therapeutic interventions and assist with adaptive equipment as needed Monitor and document student progress, making recommendations for ongoing therapy Foster a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for students of diverse abilities Support students' overall functional mobility and involvement in school activities
