Job Description

Step into a rewarding role as a Physical Therapy Assistant supporting students' health and mobility for the 2026-2027 school year. This part-time contract position near Saugus, MA, offers the chance to have a meaningful impact in school-based settings while enjoying a flexible schedule of just 6 hours per week. Qualifications & Experience:
Active Massachusetts PTA license, required Previous experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant, preferably in a school setting Strong communication and organization abilities Ability to build rapport with students, educators, and families Commitment to supporting the individual needs of each student
Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing physical therapy programs for students according to IEPs Work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist Carry out designated therapeutic interventions and exercises Observe, record, and report student progress Collaborate with educational staff to adjust activities for accessibility Encourage student participation and advocate for inclusive practices Maintain accurate documentation and follow district and state protocols
