Administrative Duties:
Chiropractic assistants manage some front office operations, including greeting patients, assisting in answering phone calls, maintaining accurate patient records and confidentiality of patient information. As well as maintain supplies, track inventory, managing new patient forms, report of findings folders, decompression logs and ensure the office environment is clean, organized and welcoming.
Clinical Support:
They assist chiropractors by preparing treatment rooms and equipment, directing office traffic, setting patients up on heat, traction and decompression tables and performing preliminary assessments such as posture pictures, range of motion study and taking x-rays.
Patient Interaction:
Chiropractic assistants educate patients on treatment procedures and wellness practices. They ensure patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit, acting as a liaison between the chiropractor and patients.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. •Completion of 40-hour Limited Xray Technician Training for Chiropractic Assistants required and provided by Hands on Health Chiropractic.
Professionalism:
Well-groomed appearance, punctuality, the ability to be self-lead and multitask.
Interpersonal Skills:
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Technical Skills:
Ability to handle sensitive patient information and confidentiality.
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, electronic health records, and basic medical office software.
Pay Rate:
$16-$18/hour
Full Time:
32-36 hours/week Split shifts:
Monday:
10am-6pm
Tuesday:
7:30am-4:30pm
Wednesday:
10am-6pm
Thursday:
7:30am-4:30pm
Friday:
6:45am-12:30pm
Saturday:
7:45am-12:30pm (•1 Saturday per month required in place of a Friday shift) •References required
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
