Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications Responsibilities Provide physical therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve patient mobility, strength, function, and quality of life. Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and other prescribed interventions. Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist. Provide patient education regarding exercises, home programs, body mechanics, and injury prevention. Accurately document treatments and patient responses in accordance with clinic and regulatory requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment. Develop positive relationships with patients and contribute to a welcoming clinic atmosphere. Communicate effectively with patients, therapists, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team. Follow all clinic policies, procedures, and applicable professional standards. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current Michigan Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for licensure. Current CPR/BLS certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a clinical team. Dependable, professional, and compassionate approach to patient care. Previous outpatient orthopedic experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply. What We Offer Part-time scheduling, 2 days per week to start.
