Key Qualifications:

Active Physical Therapy Assistant licensure in the state is required Experience in pediatric physical therapy, preferably within school settings Proficient with individualized education plans (IEPs) and adaptive equipment Strong communication skills to collaborate with families, educators, and fellow therapists Positive, team-oriented attitude and genuine interest in working with school-aged children

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct physical therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist Assist in developing and implementing tailored treatment plans to promote mobility, participation, and independence Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and district standards Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support educational and therapeutic goals Assist with equipment setup and recommendation, ensuring optimal safety and accessibility for each student
