Job Description

Position Summary The Physical Therapy Technician (PT Tech) supports licensed Physical Therapists in delivering high-quality patient care. This role involves assisting with patient flow, preparing treatment areas, and performing administrative and clinical support tasks in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist therapists with patient care and exercise programs under supervision
  • Prepare and clean treatment areas and equipment before and after use
  • Guide patients through prescribed exercises and monitor progress
  • Assist patients with mobility (walking, sitting, transfers)
  • Apply hot/cold packs or other basic modalities as directed
  • Maintain clinic cleanliness, including laundry and stocking supplies
  • Observe patient responses and report concerns to therapists
  • Assist with front desk duties such as insurance verification, scanning, scheduling and patient check-in
  • Ensure compliance with safety, HIPAA, and clinic policies Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Interest in healthcare, physical therapy, or fitness preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer and administrative skills Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and assisting patients Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a medical, fitness, or rehabilitation setting
  • CPR certification preferred
  • Interest in pursuing a career in physical therapy or healthcare
Pay:
$13.00 - $17.00 per hour
