Company Overview Synergy Rehab, Inc. has been providing outpatient-based physical therapy services for over 30 years in the Metro Detroit area, dedicated to enhancing patient recovery and well-being. Summary We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Metro Detroit. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our mission of promoting recovery and rehabilitation. Responsibilities Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans Provide direct patient care and support during therapy sessions Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercises Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients during therapy sessions Participate in ongoing professional development and training. Qualifications Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant or related field Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology Experience with outpatient physical therapy is preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment Compassionate approach to patient care. Familiarity with various therapeutic techniques including trigger point therapy.
