As a PT owned private practice, we want our team members to express & reach their full potential as much as we do for our patients. We are seeking a caring physical therapist assistant (PTA) to join our Team . During each treatment you would spend quality time with the patient to: Listen to patients' needs and goals Work effectively under the supervision of the primary physical therapist Perform hands on treatments as prescribed by a physical therapist Exercise personal judgment by making modifications as needed Motivate and encourage patients during the healing process. Execute thorough documentation of patients' progress. Create and update thorough home exercise program Maintain patient privacy/confidentiality. Physical Therapist Assistant Requirements and Qualifications A Valid License in Missouri to practice physical therapy and in good standing. Ability to communicate and adapt to different patients and personalities (must like people!) Having a high EQ really is essential to be successful: Therapy with a heart! Compassion and communication (verbal and written) are key.
Good physical stamina:
as a highly active career, strength & endurance are critical tools for success. Strong time-management skills and being detail-oriented. Must exhibit a high level of professionalism and personal ethics. Must be dependable, reliable and kind to patients and teammates.
Benefits Flexible Schedule:
(4) 10-hour days or (3) 10-hour days and (2) half days. Our first appointment is at 8:00am and our last appointment is at 5:00pm. No late evenings or weekends! Work/life balance!
