Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team, and provide one-on-one treatment to our patients in a calm environment (typically 45-60 min sessions, max 8 clients/day). The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to provide effective treatment tailored to individual needs. This role involves working in an outpatient setting, with a focus on geriatrics, orthopedics, neurological conditions, post-op rehabilitation and prosthetic gait training. Duties . Under the supervision of the Physical Therapist, perform physical therapy treatments that address patients' individual needs. Provide hands-on therapy techniques to improve mobility, strength, and overall physical function. Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and lifestyle modifications. Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments. Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards while ensuring patient safety. Experience Experienced PTAs and New Grads encouraged to apply Familiarity with systems used in managing patient records and care plans is essential. Experience working with geriatric populations, as well as in outpatient settings, is highly desirable. Knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation practices is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
